About IKSVS 2026

We invite researchers, scholars, scientists, practitioners, and students to submit abstracts for the International Conference on Indian Knowledge Systems and Vedic Sciences (IKSVS 2026), a two-day interdisciplinary forum dedicated to advancing rigorous academic engagement with Vedic and Indic knowledge traditions in dialogue with contemporary science, technology, and scholarship.

India's classical knowledge systems, spanning mathematics, astronomy, medicine, ecology, linguistics, philosophy, and the arts, represent one of humanity's most enduring and sophisticated intellectual legacies. IKSVS 2026 brings together traditional scholars, modern scientists, technologists, historians, and practitioners to examine these systems through the lens of contemporary research methodology and to explore their relevance and application in the twenty-first century.

The conference is designed to foster genuine interdisciplinary dialogue, support emerging researchers, and contribute to the growing national and international academic conversation around Indian Knowledge Systems in alignment with initiatives of the Government of India's Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division.

Our Commitment: IKSVS 2026 is committed to maintaining high standards of academic rigor, publication ethics, and interdisciplinary openness. We welcome contributions from researchers across disciplines who share an interest in understanding India's classical knowledge heritage through systematic, evidence-based inquiry.
